“Biking across the Hills of Texas” Folk art gallery.Oil on canvas 20″x 24″

I recently painted this landscape of the Texas hill country to celebrate the spring bluebonnets and others wildflowers.  Children are bicycling down a country road toward their cabin.  There is a  old car stuck in the bluebonnets alongside a dirt road.  The mesquite trees, lake, and distant hills enriched this colorful spring day. Let me know if you like it?

This really makes me feel happy! The children on their bicycles, the colors so positive and uplifting, and i can almost smell the bluebonnets from my computer screen!
